Christopher Williams

Archäologie Beaux Arts Ethnography Théâtre-Vérité

This publication on the work of Christopher Williams was produced by the Contemporary Art Gallery in 2005 to coincide with his exhibition For Example: Dix-Huit Leçons sur la Société Industrielle curated by Claudia Beck at the Contemporary Art Gallery, January 13 – March 6, 2005. It includes a forward by Christina Ritchie, an essay by John Miller Mechanization takes command: Modernization, Terminable and interminable and an additional pull out essay Some References for Christopher Williams by Claudia Beck.

The publication, like William’s work, is part exhibition catalogue and part bookwork. It was directed by Williams and designed by Yvonne Quirmbach.
